It’s no secret I like to take pictures from window seats on an airplane – it’s a view we rarely get to see and is really quite dramatic all the time. So when I came across this slideshow of Edward Burtynsky’s pictures of farmland in northeastern Spain, I knew I had to share how it’s done professionally.
Happy Friday!

I took this picture from the ferry to Provincetown the other weekend. I love the Zakim bridge in the background and all the sailboats! Only in Boston… : )

Getting to the city of Cusco from Lima, the quick hour and a half flight provides some pretty amazing views of the Andes mountain range. And I can’t be sitting in a window seat and not take a few pictures…

The Las Vegas strip looks impressive even from the sky! Although this is the ‘old’ strip – the ‘new’ Vegas is off to the left… The lights seen here would be even more exciting if I could somehow capture the darkness that surrounds this little area in the desert from the plane!
