Satiating view

March 16, 2011

No, this picture wasn’t taken while sneaking into the kitchen at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in NYC.  This was the view all night from my seat at the table inside his kitchen!  Only the best for my friend when she celebrates her birthday  : )  After many many courses over five hours on Saturday night, I am still not yet hungry again…

Tiki to the max

November 22, 2010

I went to this restaurant on Friday night with some friends.  No, I did not travel to Las Vegas for one night, but headed instead up Route 1 to this famous (infamous?) Polynesian restaurant.  It even has its own Wikipedia page and tons of pictures of celebrities with the owners over the years (Seinfeld, The Rock, Ann Hathaway, etc).  And now about the food?  I’ll let you guess how it was by the second picture, but we had a blast for sure.

Shea Stadium, just wanted to let you know we all miss you, even if Citi Field is pretty great.  Now if only the Mets can get above .500…

Happy Friday!

Beach scene

August 3, 2010

The other weekend I spent the afternoon with some friends on a beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA.  It was hot and humid in the city of Boston, and by the time we got to the beach the weather changed into this picture.  Still so beautiful though, with the rocky cliffs and rough landscape.

Some new friends

From the looks of it, Cookie Monster and Bert are the good and evil… but which is which?

Sunset on Cape Cod

April 30, 2010

To me, this is a pretty classic, typical and beautiful picture of Cape Cod at sunset.  I was out there for a friend’s wedding, and the lucky couple had this beautiful weather the night before.  Enjoy the warm weekend ahead!

Clouds rolling in

April 9, 2010

Here is a shot from a very fun wedding in Truro on Cape Cod in 2008.  The ceremony was held on the beach – that is until the clouds and rain stormed in and forced the whole party into the tent set up for the reception.  Rain on a wedding day may not be ideal, but it made for some pretty amazing and dramatic pictures!  Good thing the bride and groom are good sports…

Gone fishing

April 8, 2010

How many people does it take to catch a few minnows from the cold, Atlantic Ocean?  Looks like 8 men and one lacrosse stick…

Serious karaoke

March 31, 2010

We take our karaoke seriously.  Even if it does happen in a small, pink room in the East Village.  Any ideas on what that song is?
